Fished a tournament last Saturday and was able to place. All smallies average 18 inches and were caught using shallow crank bait along the rocky shoreline or Texas Rig with the strike king black and blue rage menace in deeper 4-6ft pockets up from the dam going down to the main lake. If fishing stronger current I used a 3/8th weight with a tube.
