Smallmouth and Large Spots tend to school up on the main river flats and steep channel edges in moving current on the upper end of the lake. The key is to find isolated rock piles in 13FOW+ and deep crank them by bouncing your bait off the rock piles. Smaller profile cranks work best, but you really have to work them to get them deep.
