Coon can be a hit or miss, but when it is on - it is a very fun lake. One of the easier fishing techniques out there is burning or jerking bladed jigs around dock pilings, outside of the reeds, or in shallow areas in 3-6 ft outside of docks. If you can't find success with this technique I would move out to the deeper weed lines in 12-19ft with a jig or texas rig and soak it hard and long for the big bites.
