This lake can be a big hit or miss. If you are local tournament angler everyone knows about Lingberg Point which extended almost across the entire main lake. The big largemouth move in big packs up and down this point, hiding in the thick milfoil clumps. If you find the clumps with rock mixed in, you most likely will find the bigger fish. If you don't want to fish in the crowd - deep ledges, and weed-lines around the main lake can hold some good volume and size. Dropshot, Ned Rig, Jig, Football Jig, and Texas Rigs are main culprits on this lake. If the bite is slow in those regards, go to the pads and bullrushes and flip deep and pull them out slowly. If you go around the left point and go back to the Southern part of the lake, it shallows up quite substantially and frogging can be incredible if you hit it at the right time. It is a fun lake as long as it has not been beat up with tons of tournaments earlier that week or days before your outing. Try to fish it on overcast days and use natural colored baits
