Fish were really shallow around main lake points and just inside the points. Bigger fish seemed to be stalking bluegills and possibly craws, but plenty of smaller ones chasing shad. Most of the 16"ers came on a craw colored shallow diving crank. Big fish of the day came on a large main lake point in 10' of water slowly cranking a big deep diving crankbait. Couldn't get any fish way back in the coves. Switched to a brighter red craw color when it started raining heavily. Got one good spotted bass on a KVD Splash in Natural shad off a main lake point. Plenty of white bass slapping spinnerbaits as well.
