There are a lot of Blueback Herring in this lake. Take advantage of it. On the colder days where fish are not too keen on biting, consider using a damiki rig. take a small soft plastic swimbait like the 3- 1/2 " keitech and pair that with a light jighead (damiki rig jighead). Slowly drag that across the bottom when you see baitfish roaming around. If that doesn't work, try a finesse jig with a TRD CrawZ from Zman, it will give a different profile to these fish.
