This outing was on 9/5/2021, day started out cool and breezy and calmed down through the day. Fished from about 6:30 to Noon. A front was moving through just south of the cities. Fishing started out a bit slow, but picked up a bit as things warmed up a bit. Tried some jig fishing and crankbait fishing (caught a small pike) but didn't have much luck. Switched over to a drop shot on some outside weedlines near some steep drop offs and caught a few small to medium fish. Caught 4 fish in quick manner on one new spot I hadn't tried before. Seemed to like the slower/smaller presentation. Fishing partner had some small muskie action on a large swimbait.
