On slick summer days a slow rolled spybait can be unbeatable on Lake St-Clair. Light braid to leader set up on a long spinning rod generates the king casts you need to search with a spybait. Vary the length of sink you allow and occasionally mix in a quick turn of the handle or a twitch. A often overlooked key to converting follows to bites is a quick pause while dumping slack in the line to allow the bait to shimmie. Ya gotta commit to it!
