A wacky worm on a heavy drop shot can be an incredibly effective tool to search for scattered Smallmouth in featureless lakes like St-Clair. Short flips 40-50’ from the boat and after it hits bottom retrieve it almost instantly as they usually grab it on the fall. Super efficient and effective on Post spawn and summer pattern smallies.
