Lake Tohopekaliga Fishing Report for Largemouth Bass using Jerkbaits in Pre-Spawn (Submerged Vegetation)
Reported by Patrick Walters on Jan 21, 2020
Majority of the fish on Lake Toho now live majority of their lives off and away from the bank! This is due to the large amount of submerged Hydrilla in the middle of the lake, that allows the fish to feed, spawn, and be well hidden and never have to go up shallow to the bank. And the bite is on fire offshore! A great tool and search bait to cover water and find the fish, is a shallow diving suspended jerkbait! If you can find the hard bottom mixed in with the large clumps of grass... that is the key!
