Slow day but did get a few flipping submerged weeds in 8-12 feet. Did get one on a Choppo in shallower but that was the only taker for that technique

It was a beautiful day on Saratoga Lake. Light winds and blue skies. I had the best results with Texas rigged watermelon pearl laminate Yum Dinger 5 inch worms over submerged vegetation in 7 to 8 feet of water.

Ripping a lipless through grass triggering a reaction strike. Switched to the NRX 904c MBR to help clear off the grass easier. Owner 3x st-56 treble hooks kept them pinned while I reefed the out of the grass.

The largemouth bass were relating to shallow cover in the morning, and moved deeper in the afternoon. I caught most my fish near points close to flats.

Kept getting nipped at by perch. There were tons of them all over the place. Struggled a bit finding bass over the weekend, ended up catching 6 as a group. We stuck to the north side of the lake and seemed to have the best luck in deeper ledges.

The baits and tools listed are what I leaned on; however I have good information that on top of this bite sequence there was also a productive frog and swim jig bite in the shore line grasses, on top of the offshore submerged vegetation. This is a choice, much of the submerged grasses look like they are dirty, disturbed and not in the best of water and this is the case from Canada Line to Ticonderoga. If you can find cleaner grasses, there are and will be large mouth, but in these areas you are prone to catch more northern pike as well. Smallmouth fishing ended up being a more productive fishing approach for competition purposes.

The largemouth were in 4-12 feet of water located in submerge vegetation. I would throw my wacky worm towards the larger clumps of grass, I would let it sink and then pop it out of the grass. The strikes came when I popped the wacky worm out of the grass.
