This fit this pond holds up round 1 ounce to probably 5 pound fish. I caught a 4.5 pounder couple weeks ago and they’re biting really good around this time

Fished here for the 2nd time ever and ended up finishing 5/20 boats in an open derby. Used 2D sonar to notice there was a thermocline at 10 feet, so decided to beat the banks! Super fun day with having our smallest fish caught of the day being a 2.5lber. The bay finally started producing and was able to catch them after all the boat traffic turned the water into chocolate milk!

This lake gets deep very quick and is Gin clear, easily has 50ft of visibility. Some Lillypads in a few spots on the lake and had some success around them with topwater toad but majority of the success was with chatterbait fished on the edges of rock drop offs and ledges as well as the Lilly pads.

This lake has been fishing TOUGH… 14lbs won the derb, ended up with around 11lbs, just won big bite away. Full moon and bird blue skies had the fish in a weird mood to where they wanted something falling super slow in the grass. Wouldn’t touch a regular senko, drop shot, or urchin style bait. The following presentations produced bites, but not many: flipping and chatterbait. The Raid 2 Way ended up saving the day fishing between a mix of pond weed, milfoil and coontail. Hands down my favorite new worm that has appendages just like the urchin style baits!

Flipped around and found out that there was a 4 pounder sitting under a floating grass clump and beside a fallen tree. A custom made jig 1/2 GP with a strike king rage chunk was the ticket.

Slow day but did get a few flipping submerged weeds in 8-12 feet. Did get one on a Choppo in shallower but that was the only taker for that technique
