Staff Picks: Late Summer Edition

Favorite baits of 2024. I shouldn't say favorite because this certainly isn't my favorite But it's certainly been very productive for me this year I'm trying to get better with my scope because admittedly it is not my strong suit and I've gained the most confidence and fish and stuff like this And I've been using a wacky jig a lot more like this little jackal flick shake jig there the wacky jig head I Think this thing's helped me a lot be at least being of the control the depth of this thing and this is a raid two way Comes in a whole bunch of different sizes. So I started off with bigger ones I could see my bait a little bit bigger better on scope and now I'm downsizing it a bit more But here's a list from all the other anglers here at Omniu fishing Telling you what some of their most productive were favorite baits for 2024 are going now All right, my most productive bait in 2024 so far is probably been the jig The stealth fighter cage fighter up here in the North country got a lot of grass So I really like to flip the stealth fighter around five ace half ounce usually depending on how it's like the grasses The trailer I like to throw with it is the cleanup draw for cross city has a lot of action Very narrow so it goes through the grass for really nice I would say that has probably been my most productive bait in 2024 when talking about my most productive bait this year Hands down. It's got to be a drop shot My favorite has been the zoom trick worm. This is a clean spray grass They're a two-odd cover shot hook I found my bigger fish have been just inside the weed lines So when you're rigged on that hook comes to the grass clean and you do a lot of bites The best bait for me in the 2024 bass fishing season was hands down and jerk bait and no, it's not the vision 110 I was throwing this guy. This is the rapola Maverick 110. I saves you about 10 bucks over that vision 110 comes stock with the MC red line hooks And this bait was catching me bass all the way from the spring all the way through the summer and the best part is It's gonna pick back up again in the fall. This is gonna be a great option So stock up on your jerkbaits and take a look at the rapola Maverick 110 My hot bait for 2024 is a pretty special one Not other than the strike king sexy dog I've been throwing the regular size But when I'm around those pesky little small mouth the junior size has been a big player for me too Both of these have put a lot of bass in the boat for me in 2024 [Music] [Music]
