Reported by
Erik Gaffron
Cherokee Lake (TN)

Reported by
Quin Motley
Lake Norman (NC)
Quin Motley reported catching Spotted Bass using the Finesse Jigs technique and Daiwa Tatula SV TW103 Casting Reel - EOL on Lake Norman. Additional comments from this report: "We found the fish close to cover either in laydowns in 2'-5' of water or related to stumps on points in 15'-20' of water. To trigger a bite, you had to slow crawl a jig right against the cover to trigger a strike. "

Reported by
Tyler Duncan
Center Lake (WI) (WI)
Tyler Duncan reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Finesse Jigs technique and Daiwa Tatula SV TW103 Casting Reel - EOL on Center Lake (WI). Additional comments from this report: "No real consistent bite or pattern, just junk fished, and was able to get a few bites on each a finesse jig, choppo, and drop shot. They seem to be in the post spawn recovery mode and haven't really keyed on the bluegill spawn yet. "
Shimano Curado DC Casting Reel
$304.99

Reported by
Cameron Creamer
Lake Champlain (NY, VT)
Cameron Creamer reported catching Smallmouth Bass using the Finesse Jigs technique and Shimano Curado DC Casting Reel on Lake Champlain. Additional comments from this report: "Offshore reef and shoals producing nice small mouth bite for numbers. Open water sniper in hybrid goby provided best of both worlds with hair jig and traditional finesse jig features. Don’t be scared of the small thin wire hook, these things can take a beating! "

Reported by
Simi
Green Lake (MN)
Simi reported catching Smallmouth Bass using the Finesse Jigs technique and Shimano Curado DC Casting Reel on Green Lake . Additional comments from this report: "The Smallmouth were smashing the Stealth Feider 3/8 jig when paired with the Crush City Bama trailer. Any other color triggered no bites. These fish have been eating crawfish non stop. You can find the largemouth in the weeds pretty consistently and the smallmouth in the sand just off the weed piles. Swimming a jig just off the bottom slowly worked triggered many fish in the 3 to 4 pound range. If you have live scope you can get them on a minnow or dropshot as well. Fish either bite immediately or not at all. Keep covering water. "

Erik Gaffron reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Finesse Jigs technique and Daiwa Tatula SV TW103 Casting Reel - EOL on Cherokee Lake . Additional comments from this report: "Targeting moderately slopes banks where fish were staging on rock and gravel transitions is critical to unlocking the prespawn bite on this lake. Crawfish are the primary forage on these types of banks and make an amazing prespawn snack for bass of both largemouth and smallmouth varieties."
