Trevor Lo
Lake Minnetonka (MN)
Trevor Lo reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Grass Jigs technique and Daiwa Tatula SV TW103 Casting Reel on Lake Minnetonka. Additional comments from this report: "The majority of bass were in their post spawn phase and were keying in on bluegill that were getting ready to spawn. I spent the day focusing on shallow grass flats with clean vegetation near docks. There are lots of areas that near docks where homeowners clean off the bottom of the lake with their weed rollers that welcome bluegill to bed. I utilized my Humminbird Mega 360 to find the "honeycombs" and casted at areas where the grass edge met the bluegill spawning areas. Caught most of my fish on a Outkast Stealth Feider Jig in Money Craw color with a Strike King Rage Chunk as a trailer in the Blue Craw color. Did not fish deeper than 8 feet of water this day."

Ben Demo
Lake Minnetonka (MN)
Ben Demo reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Grass Jigs technique and Shimano Curado MGL 150 Casting Reel on Lake Minnetonka. Additional comments from this report: "(5/22/2022 water temp 60-64) Mediocre tourney placed 54 out of 150 boats we caught most of our fish on docks 14-16 inch fish then went to grass flats and that’s where we found our 18 inch+ unlucky we didn’t decide to pick apart that area more in practice it was a spot where we found in tourney when we had nothing else left so we decided to just flip some jigs in grass and it worked. Look for the thickest pieces of grass right now and flip with a heavy jig 1/2 - 5/8."
