Reported by
Charlie Sponer

De Gray Lake (AR)

Charlie Sponer reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Hard Topwater (Prop) technique and Sufix 832 Braid on De Gray Lake. Additional comments from this report: "Bass are chasing shad all over the lake. Whopper ploppers work well early and if the wind is up. Old school crazy shads and other smaller double prop baits are working well when the plopper bite slows. Bigger fish can be caught underneath the shad with a spoon."

PowerPro Spectra Braid

$18.50 – $22.50

Reported by
Matthew Mattingly

Lake Cumberland (KY)

Matthew Mattingly reported catching Smallmouth Bass using the Hard Topwater (Prop) technique and PowerPro Spectra Braid on Lake Cumberland. Additional comments from this report: "Fished a tournament this weekend. Fall fishing is here, it can be feast or famine. The smallmouth and spotted bass were active in the backs of the short pockets chasing shad. Our best fish came on a River 2 Sea Whopper plopper, some bonus fish were caught flipping a jig in the laydowns and brush right after the topwater. Cover as much water as you can and keep your head down looking for fish"

Reported by
Jacob Stem

Additional comments from this report: "I fished a section of the susky near Harrisburg. I caught almost all my fish throwing the Berkley choppo along the edges of the bank. At times i would be near fish chasing bait and could catch them fishing this right where they were chasing bait"
