Sufix 832 Braid

$16.99 – $115.99

Reported by
Yang

Wirth Lake (MN)

Yang reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Hard Topwater (Prop) technique and Sufix 832 Braid on Wirth Lake. Additional comments from this report: "Straight retrieve with pauses along the edge of exposed brush pile in 4-5 ft."

Reported by
Matt Boyd

Silver Lake (MN)

Matt Boyd reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Hard Topwater (Prop) technique and Sufix 832 Braid on Silver Lake. Additional comments from this report: "Went out in the kayak and found a good abundance of fish on the outer weed edge and right against the bank. Started out early with a frog then transitioned to the outer edge and threw the Choppo. Had to cover a ton of water to get the better bites. If you’re looking to get a better bite, try flipping a Rage Bug or the Berkley Creature hawg."

Reported by
Charlie Sponer

De Gray Lake (AR)

Charlie Sponer reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Hard Topwater (Prop) technique and Sufix 832 Braid on De Gray Lake. Additional comments from this report: "Bass are chasing shad all over the lake. Whopper ploppers work well early and if the wind is up. Old school crazy shads and other smaller double prop baits are working well when the plopper bite slows. Bigger fish can be caught underneath the shad with a spoon."

PowerPro Spectra Braid

$18.50 – $22.50

Reported by
Ricky Lor

Rum River (MN)

Ricky Lor reported catching Smallmouth Bass using the Hard Topwater (Prop) technique and PowerPro Spectra Braid on Rum River. Additional comments from this report: "Fishing the Rum River with whopper plopper. I look for shaded area along with cut off current. That seems to be where most of the fish are stacked at. For this one, I threw it to a shaded area and the fish came up as my plopper landed. It was a nice 4lbs Smallies."

Reported by
Charles Bessel

Lake Minnewashta (MN)

Charles Bessel reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Hard Topwater (Prop) technique and PowerPro Spectra Braid on Lake Minnewashta. Additional comments from this report: "Too the kayak out early in the morning. Bass were suspended in about 10 FOW. Managed to get a few to come up on the whopper plopper by varying the retrieve speed and with pauses. "

Reported by
Tim Rutz

Lake Ida (9) (MN)

Tim Rutz reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Hard Topwater (Prop) technique and PowerPro Spectra Braid on Lake Ida (9). Additional comments from this report: "Worked north side of bay. Located fish at the edge of old reeds in shallow water. Water temperature 65"

Seaguar Smackdown Braided Line

$31.99

Reported by
Will Niebrugge

Pickwick Lake

Will Niebrugge reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Hard Topwater (Prop) technique and Seaguar Smackdown Braided Line on Pickwick Lake. Additional comments from this report: "Throwing a Plopper type bait around submerged grass can be a lot of fun, and Pickwick is one of the best places to do it. Fish a grass line till you get a bite, where there is one fish there will be more. Keep your eye out for bait too!"

Dick Majewski

Lake Winnebago (WI)

Dick Majewski reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Hard Topwater (Prop) technique and Seaguar Smackdown Braided Line on Lake Winnebago.
