OutdoorsWithKai
Lake Minnetonka (MN)
OutdoorsWithKai reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Hard Jerkbaits technique and Shimano Expride B Casting Rods on Lake Minnetonka. Additional comments from this report: "As the weather continues to cool down, the fish stays feeding. Most of my fish came off ripping the jerkbait out of patches of weeds in 8-12FOW and just waiting a second or two before twitching it had them react to it. Having a livescope helped me out as well because I can see them coming out of the weed patches chasing my jerkbait as it rips out of the weeds. Nothing too fancy, but having the right rod (mentioned) helped a ton when fishing a jerkbait. "

larrymarketreels reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Hard Jerkbaits technique and Shimano Expride B Casting Rods on Lake of the Isles. Additional comments from this report: "Caught about 8 of them on the Rerange 110 at the very tip of a point in about 14’ that immediately dropped into deeper water. Longer pauses between rod twitches were the key. Working the jerkbait too erratically did not seem to get them to react. Slow-playing the lure got me most of my bites today. "
