Shimano Expride B Casting Rods

$289.99 – $349.99

Reported by
Nicholas Robinson

Lake Montclair (VA)

Nicholas Robinson reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Hard Jerkbaits technique and Shimano Expride B Casting Rods on Lake Montclair. Additional comments from this report: "Impromptu visit to Lake Montclair for the first time. Water was surprisingly clear with 8-10ft visibility. Sunny/steady 10mph wind. Fished a Vision 110 and Rerange from the bank and managed to land a few decent pre-spawn fish. Bites came on short pauses. "

Reported by
SmugOne

Abbott Lake (VA)

SmugOne reported catching Smallmouth Bass using the Hard Jerkbaits technique and Shimano Expride B Casting Rods on Abbott Lake. Additional comments from this report: "This is a beautiful place to fish but there is a lot of activity and pressure in this little lake and you can only fish from the bank. At sunrise, they are a lot less skittish and I was able to catch some smallmouth on the opposite side of the damn. Jerk bait with long pauses and working a senko slow was the ticket on this day."

Reported by
Serious Angler Network

Keuka Lake (NY)

Serious Angler Network reported catching Smallmouth Bass using the Hard Jerkbaits technique and Shimano Expride B Casting Rods on Keuka Lake. Additional comments from this report: "You can work the Krej fairly deep and don’t be afraid to go up to 8lb line with this to allow it to sink faster, it has a wild shimmy and even tho it was frigid the smallies smashed it on the fall. Rip 1-2x and let fall backwards "

Megabass Levante Casting Rods

Reported by
Joseph Cascarino

Susquehanna River (PA)

Joseph Cascarino reported catching Smallmouth Bass using the Hard Jerkbaits technique and Megabass Levante Casting Rods on Susquehanna River . Additional comments from this report: "65 degree day winds 5-10 light variable. Fished eddies behind rock ledges and large single boulders. Caught fish on black and blue 3/8 zman mini max. Great bait for smallmouth. Caught fish in pic on kvd 1.5 fishing near weedbeds. Caught most of my fish on molix finder jerkbait. Slender jerkbait that isn't made any longer. All baits fished on alpha angler rods and jerkbaits fished on alpha angler slasher and megabass levante jerkbait special. All reels were daiwa sv tw zillions. Phenomenal reels. Ended with 10 fish(missed 2) smallest one being 16.5 inches. 4 over 18 inches."

Omnia Fishing

Lake Norman (NC)

Omnia Fishing reported catching Spotted Bass using the Hard Jerkbaits technique and Daiwa Tatula Elite Series Casting Rods - 2018 Release - EOL on Lake Norman.
