Tough summer conditions with water temps in the high '80s. Fish have moved back off to deeper water. With summer boat traffic in full swing maintaining positions on points are difficult mid to late day. Most productive times are very early in the morning 5am to 10:00 a.m. top water on creek miles and lake points produce decent sized fish as the day heats up back out into deeper waters before summertime traffic kicks in full swing at 11:00 am to 7pm

I used a balled up piece of bread on an offset hook, on a MH rod. It put up a pretty good fight, and it loved the bread. My brother caught one with the same rig as well.
