Water was average 43 degrees, caught most fish on the edge of shallow flats closest to deeper water, sat in 12ft and casted to 5-6ft of water. Chatterbaits and small paddletails retrieved slowly was the only productive thing for me. Caught a few, my GF caught a few as well. Still pretty slow.

Spawn is starting. Water temps were 60-63. Fish are starting to get into that weird spawn mode. Could not pattern anything at all really. Started by throwing moving baits on weedy flats and weedlines and got nothing but pike. Managed one 2lb bass off some emergent grass up shallow. Began throwing finesse techniques like dropshots and ned rigs in 10-12ft and managed to catch several tiny bass.
