Went out for the madden voyage on a buddies new boat and decided to do a little fishing while he was working out the kinks. Water was pretty warm, constant 15-20mph wind. We just drifted down the east side of the lake. I caught a couple on a Berkley Jack. My teenager destroyed the adults throwing the NED the whole time.

Water temp was running 53.5-55.7 while we were out. Was decently windy out of the west (7-10mph). Early catch in open water on a jerkbait. We eventually found a pattern of throwing into the dark spots in 4-5' of water and ripping a bait through it (frittside). Otherwise the ned rig was pretty productive for smallies as well. Probably only caught one keeper out of the 8 bass we caught. Lake definitely seems to be in decline.
