Most of the fish were still prespawn. I caught 3 bass on a spinnerbait but my buddy caught 9 on a Northland firetiger Mimic Minnow with a spinner blade. They really liked that lure. Most of the bass we caught were in 4 to 6 feet of water

Found the bass in 3 to 5 feet of water. The chartreuse spinnerbait with a yellow Mr Twister double cury tail trailer worked good.
