Perfect weather for December fishing, 80 degrees, light 5 mph winds, clear skies.

Most of the action was on main lake points and approx 10-20 ft deep. Most of the time I was fishing the rig deep and slow. Water temp in the low 60s.

11/12/2020 - Water was 64-68deg across the lake with about 16” visibility. Caught a bunch of the typical 1.5-2lbrs on steeper, rocky points with Green Pumpkin Ned Rigs. Started close to the bank with Shad popping and worked out to about 18ft of water.

3xd in shad colors in 5-12 ft early got the bite. Later on , roboworms in mm and green pumpkin worked in 12-20 ft. Humps and ledges off the main lake.

Post cold front and fishing was tough. Nothing on topwater, crankbaits or jerkbait. Finally found them on points on the main lake. 10-20ft deep dropshotting 6” roboworms in shad type colors worked. Slow almost dead sticking was needed.

Slow early. Picked up late morning with chatter bait slow rolled in 12-18ft. Points and reefs were what we were looking for. 3xd in gizzard shad also produced in 15+ ft.
