Nice breeze, cloud cover, early morning till 11 am, bites stopped, no wind, turned hot 104 degrees, got off the lake.

It was flat calm early, but once the wind picked up that’s when the jerkbait bite became evident and they stacked up near a submerged hump in 5-12’. Before that, I picked up a few scattered fish on slow moving bottom baits (drop shot and jig) in 12-14’

Hot bite oh off any rocky shore with bigger boulders. Bass corralling shad schools. Megabass 110 jr +1 we’re killing them. Any color seemed to work. Later when they went down, 5” Yamamoto Senko, especially in green pumpkin worked. Wacky rig or Texas rig worked. 10-15 ft deep. Great fishing right now

Megabass jerkbaits working great in the morning in coves. Wagasaki and pro blue. Later drop shot roboworms in 12-18 ft off of secondary points. Boulders are key if you can graph them.

Fish were found in shallow flooded brush and were aggressively feeding.
