Bass were hitting top water baits just before sun up. After sun was up for a short while and the top water bite slowed down we switched to Texas rigged worms. I was using a Bass Pro Shops Black Fire tail 6 inch worm. We caught around a dozen bass before 9:30 am. By 10 am it was hot outside with very little wind.
