TechniqueUmbrella RigsSeasonSummerStructureBouldersI took my buddy out on my boat to do some evening fishing. We were throwing around Alabama rigs and caught some striper and walleye. They were super shallow chasing bait. Casting at the bank and they would bite within first few cranks of the reel super fun time!

TechniqueDrop ShotSeasonSummerStructureLedgesThis is a lake that I do guided trips, electronics classes and use to practice a lot of the techniques I take around the country. For more info head to graebuckfishing.com/#guide. This most recent trip on 8/24/22 I was targeting large and smallmouth bass on ledges that had a mixture of stumps, rocks and hydrilla. Using a MR6 and ned rig on the top of the ledges to where they dropped of was the key to getting bites. We even had a big school of stripers come up schooling and put three 8-12lbers in the boat on a jigging spoon. It was a fun surprise and made for a great battle for my clients on our Favorite rod and reel combos.
