I caught my personal best SM here several years back. I have fished it several times for bass, and I do not think this is a good bass lake. Fish the more shallow water near the state forest campground for LM. As this bay opens up in to the larger water, there's a ridge and then a sharp drop-off. I've had luck with wacky, neko and drop-shot here. Use natural colors and long casts as the water is VERY clear.
