I was finding that if you were able to get your boat as parallel to the rocks as you possibly could you could definitely get 4 or 5 more fish out of the day. Also I listed this in the fall but it’s more of a late summer bite, when the days start dipping into the 70’s.

Very odd winter...was able to sneak out on a unusual warm winter day. A mid 60 degree day with a strong south wind. Was fishing some of the bank that had a medium amount of wind on it. Didn't want it still but didn't want it getting slammed. Nothing to this bite but slow rolling a spinnerbait .

I was fishing a extremely shallow “hump.” Like in 2 feet of water going to 3. Sounds crazy that they’d be that shallow in 49 degree water but it was proven. I was beating the bank with a terminator 1/2 oz chartreuse and whit spinner bait. ( I was getting short strikes so putting on a trailer hook was a must) I also painted one of the blades orange and that stood out in the 6 inches of visibility!
