I finished fishing the Hobie Bass Open Series Tournament on Broken Bow this past weekend. The lake temps were upper 40s to mid 50s by the end of the day with stained to muddy water in most areas. Fish were staged on small points and bluff walls, as well as suspended on timber. I was able to catch fish on points using small swimbaits and chatterbaits, as well as bluff walls and rockpiles using a ned rig. Look for bass to be moving up shallow as water temps start warming up this month.
