Caddo is in a little bit of a funk right now but there are still fish to be caught. I fished cypress trees next to or close by to creek channels. Specifically focusing on isolated trees or tight clusters of trees. Cranking and throwing a spinnerbait at various anglers around the trees proved to very effective. Occasionally I would come across a matt of vegetation an got a couple bites but not near as many as fishing the cypress trees.

Cast to the up wind side of the trees and move bait slowly using the count down method so the bait falls back to the bottom . Look for any line movement or different feeling of the bait.
