Castaic fishing late May- early June, pretty much just sight fishing and finessing for dinks, really fast pace, each trip hooking onto at least 45 fish each person, HOWEVER, almost every single one is under a pound, every once and a while, you can get hit hard by a big 4-6 lb bass on crank baits, or other jerk baits. Most reaction baits are good but way too big for most of the catchable fish currently, most reaction baits are scaring off more fish than catching, occasional massive trout (3-5) lbs.
