Cruising around the dock we found cruising spawners. Casted a drop shot to the areas that appeared to be beds. They didn't seem to be locked down. So staying back and making long casts was effective.

Perch are putting on the weight getting ready to spawn. Start out deeper and work shallow until you find the large schools. Lots of 10-12" perch with some pushing 14". Drop shot small soft plastics if you don't have live minnows or if you run out. The larger fish were found in 7-10 feet of water.
