Perch
Fishing was tough, but i did manager to catch a few smallmouth. Cayuga is a huge body of water and seems like sometimes you just don't run into them. The smallies really do seem to be keying in on perch.

Found a nice group of fish setting up to spawn. Had quantity but not quality as far as overall weight. Put two dozen fish in the boat in about 45mins by throwing a shadow rap at a medium tempo around sparse grass in 5-8’ of water. Water temp in the area was 61 with stained water.

Docks
I know it's not the sexiest, but it's hard to beat a 4" senko around docks during this time of year. I often rig it wacky, but sometimes texas rigged with a 1/4-3/8 bullet weight. Green pumpkin with red flake is my go-to, but have also found success with black & blue flake in stained water.

Fishing is getting good on Cayuga! The fish are moving up and seem to love the docks. I caught a ton of fish skipping a jig around docks! Water temps are in the mid 50s
