Found a nice group of fish setting up to spawn. Had quantity but not quality as far as overall weight. Put two dozen fish in the boat in about 45mins by throwing a shadow rap at a medium tempo around sparse grass in 5-8’ of water. Water temp in the area was 61 with stained water.

Fishing is getting good on Cayuga! The fish are moving up and seem to love the docks. I caught a ton of fish skipping a jig around docks! Water temps are in the mid 50s

May 7th I fished the SlayNation PA vs. NY Kayak Bass Tournament. I fished the northern end of the lake after my practice did not pan out like I had hoped. I ended up throwing a queen tackle tungsten chatterbait paired with a Rabid Baits Rab-Shad on the back to catch my bigger bass in my bag. To finish out my limit I had a 1/16th ounce pegged Texas rig paired with a yum dinger skipping it under the docks into the shaded areas to catch a few keepers. You can watch the whole video on my youtube channel Jake_Stem_Fishing
