Fish are currently in all stages of the spawn. Fish that are in pre spawn feeding patterns are holding under and around docks close to prime spawning. Skipping a worm under those docks gets a lot of quality bites.

I fished Cayuga for the Slay Nation civil war tournament. I finished 7th out of 55 anglers. I caught almost all my fish on a chatterbait I just fished shallow submerged grass where I believe the largemouth were spawning in the shallow dirty water.

Caught some slobs to put up a good bag in a kayak tourney. Put up almost 100” (around 24-25lbs) including big bass (7lbs). Was on fish all day yo yo-ing a lipless or working a jackhammer around new hydrilla. Caught over 20 fish throughout the day. Place was on fire!

Majority of the fish on the day were caught on docks using a Ned rig. As the day went on with no luck with the chatter bait, I switched to the Berkley Stunna and the big girls bit.
