    What you need to know about fishing Cedar Creek Reservoir (AL)

    Cedar Creek Reservoir is 4,200 acres at its maximum and is apart of the Tennessee Valley Authority. Similar to other lakes in the area, Largemouth Bass and Crappie are the main attraction to this lake. Fish up to 8 pounds are caught each year. Also, many fish between 4 and 5 pounds can be caught on the right outing. In addition to Largemouth Bass, Spotted Bass also exist in this body of water. These bass are not nearly the size of Largemouths, but they are known to be a harder fighter for their size. Most Crappies are in the 9-11 inch range, there is a 9 inch minimum on harvesting crappies.
