Fished a GHBT club derby out here today. First time on the lake so had to learn as I went. Managed to crack a 5.25 right away in the morning, flipping a jig into flooded wood. After that it was a grind. Managed two good ones on a frog, targeting holes in duckweed. Also one on a chatter bait towards the end of the day. Caught a few dinks on a neko rig but it was a slow day for me. Definitely need to give this lake another try!

Fished spinner baits in 2-3’ of water in pockets produced the best for me but also got 3 dog fish doing this. Also got a few fishing docks mostly small but did get one good one on a deeper dock but docks completely died down when the sun would go away.
