The bass we're pretty small this year and it was hard to find keepers. Kept fishing as a big storm rolled in and started catching a lot during the storm on stick baits. After the storm rolled through, things died back down again.

Water temp sitting between 68-69°F and little to no wind. Water clarity was crazy, easy 10' clarity. Lots of pleasure boat traffic on the lake as well. No pattern in the morning, a few pike on jerkbaits and chatterbaits. Spent a long time searching mid depth areas looking for bass and eventually found them in the shallows near the budding lilly pad's guarding beds. We did a good bit of sight fishing for some pretty good size lady's and we eventually found them to be in the grass on the edges of shadows as well as in the budding lily pads. Chucking a wacky or t-rigged worm up into the shallows produced quite a few keepers and some pretty good specimens for the lake.
