Fish were caught in 5' or less. The hot bait was a 3" Megabass Spark shad on spinning gear with a light weight head. Making long casts and swimming it back briskly triggered bites.

Smallmouth were caught in the shallower water slow rolling a small swimbait around logs. When the water warmed up the fish bit a lot better.
