I looked for brush where I could see fish in the tops of piles, then I'd toss the small swimbait over the tops, and slowly reel it over the tops. If I didn't get a bite within 10 casts, I'd move to a new pile.

I saw water temps around 79-83 degrees in the backs of creeks targeting remaining bluegill bed pockets. Most of the bluegill spawn has wrapped up, but there are still big largemouth hanging around and ready to eat. The bite has been a lot more active early in the morning, but they pull up really tight to cover as the sun gets up.
