Claytor is starting to fish pretty tuff. Most to the evening wildcat tournaments are only taking about 8 lbs to win. With very little offshore structures it’s hard to find them out on Claytor. I caught several keepers but no much over two lbs mostly on topwater and flipping a baby dnomb in the thickest cover I can find.

Claytor is still fishing tuff. However, if you can manage to get out on a day with cloud cover or rain like yesterday fishing is better. I was able to catch a good number yesterday but the size wasn’t great. The biggest fish ( 2.5 lbs ) came on a spook style bait. Most fish came on a megabass vision 110 jr.
