Throwing a texas rigged worm will get bass in the boat here. I targeted the matted grass. I used a 1/4 oz tungsten worm weight but I also believe a weightless texas rigged worm will work as well. I caught on a 7" as well as a 10" worm. Variety of colors worked here. watermelon/red, watermelon/seed, blue fleck.

We stayed in 15-20 feet of water and casted as close to the bank as possible. Ran the chatter bait over grass and down the ledges and it produced healthy big bass as well as multiple 25” pike.
