Rod and reel combo is correct. Bait used was Bizz Baits Bizzbug in June bug. Z craw would have caught them too. Flipping pads at edge of a drop off.

Heading into the fall transition as the bass start chasing bait again. Playing off this i downsized bait and made long cast over submerged grass in 4-7’ of water. Slow to medium retrieve. Keeping bait above the grass. Was able to capitalize on about 20 over 2lbs today using this method. Worked well throwing parallel to lily pads as well.
