If the boat traffic wasn’t so bad I might have been able to catch more. Such a fun bite. They are on the move and they are hungry!

Fish were very particular that day on how far they moved to go get a bait. You had to drop it right on their heads.

Junk fished our way around. Boat traffic was really an issue. Caught fish on everything from tubes, chatterbaits, jerkbaits, to football jigs. Fished in grass and around ledges. Tried skipping docks but fish were not set up there as well as main lake.

Good day of fishing today. Caught most fish on a Jackhammer chatterbait on large weed flats and outside weed edges. Also caught some fish on a 1/2oz jig dragging it around once it got warmer out.
