This lake can be really fickle at this time of the year. If you figure out the right presentations you can do decently. In the late Fall I will usually target the deepest reed patches that have some life still in them. Flip them and dissect them to the best of your ability. If that doesn't work, find some good offshore weedlines that are starting to die down and use a jerk bait to rip over the tops of the weeds that are left. Give yourself long pauses in-between your jerks and usually they will come out of the grass and smash on the pause. Ned rigs, can also prove to be good on the lake during a tough bite, but you need to really figure out where the fish are clumped up. Tight lines!

Pressure can be high out here in the winter, but decent panfish action can be had when looking for a quick afternoon out. Don't over look the breaklines and basin edges if the deep holes are full of people. Downsizing to small 3mm jigs and flies helped a lot last time out.

Grass around edge of lake showed signs of dying off so hard cover (docks) produced plenty of fish. Fish seemed to want the bait pretty far under docks.
