Chased schools of crappie throughout the lake. Seemed to be moving with the baitfish in 8-15 feet of water. Tried to find ambush points and/or areas of warmth (rock mixed with emerging vegetation).

Caught some nice males staging off the rocks on a small basin in 4’ of water. Clarity is only about 18” bobbers with crawlers didn’t get much action. Casting and letting the Boot tail Jig on slack line and hopping it back on a slow retrieve was key.
