Fish the ned rig real slow on rocky shorelines. The sunnier the better for warmth off the rocks. Look for inlets and channels.

This area gets a lot of pressure from chatterbaits, so sometimes you have to throw more subtle lures. I picked up a soft Swimbait and caught a couple nice ones. One of my teammates caught one on a lipless and one on a small Spinnerbait. They were definitely prespawn but moving into backwaters.

The channels and the backwaters are loaded with Largemouth that are ready to eat a chatter bait. Flipping a frog or a jig into the pads also brought out fish.
