I picked up a soft Swimbait and caught a couple nice ones. One of my teammates caught one on a lipless and one on a small Spinnerbait. They were definitely prespawn but moving into backwaters.

The channels and the backwaters are loaded with Largemouth that are ready to eat a chatter bait. Flipping a frog or a jig into the pads also brought out fish.

Fish the ned rig real slow on rocky shorelines. The sunnier the better for warmth off the rocks. Look for inlets and channels.
