I caught at least 30 largemouth bass in super shallow water with pondweed and lily pads with this weightless and weedless rigged worm

Was able to get out for a few hours in the morning on the kayaks with the wife. Caught several bass, and also several large pike, casting a swim jig parallel to the reeds. The North Shore has a lot of reed patches. Tried the inside and outside edges, but only has success on the outer deeper side.
