Drop shotting live leeches. Caught 3 channel cats in 20 minutes and a nice smallmouth. Biggest catfish was 17 inches, 2.3 pounds.

Largemouth were willing biters in the channels and bayous. Shad pattern swim jigs, swimbaits and bladed Jigs produced steadily. A Yamamoto Fat Ika was a good choice around docks. Not much of a topwater frog or buzzbait bite.
