I was there for a couple of hours the other day. We had the best luck with tossing a jig out near some mats or having a fluke slowly go over those same mats. Often they would either bite the jig on the fall as it hit the water. Or after a few seconds of it being worked along the bottom. We did not have the best of luck of getting bites when the jig would be worked closer to shore. The fluke had its best time when it was worked either towards the mats or just leaving the mats. Occasionally it could get a hit, not near mats at all but for the most part, it was best used near mats. The jig has its best time during the evening and before sunset. The fluke was good during the evening, sunset, and twilight.

4 largemouth were caught in total today. Three over a pound and one under a pound. Biggest was caught on a swimjig with a fluke trailer. There was no set spot that really produced just mainly found fish along the bends and ledges. Would recommend going earlier in the day as we had the most hits before 1:30. As the bite has dropped off after that point. Top water did have bites but they all missed.

Had fished here during the 2022 ice season. Caught quite a few bluegills and a handful of crappie. All the fish that had been caught were either jigs with a wax worm or red or white spike on them. Crappie was caught maybe once or twice per trip often near the middle of the lake. With the crappie bite often happening as the sun would go down With blue gill being found either closer to shore or near the middle as well. One perch was caught as well, it was at most 6 inches long and it was at the tail end of the season. I had also at one point hooked into a pike in the middle of the water column about 200 yards from the concessions area. With it at first, fighting me then well biting mine 2 lbs test clean off. If planning to keep any fish I'd recommend bluegill. As the crappie or perch is not prevalent at all in this lake.
