Greg and I hit the Tuesday Night Hog Fights, and he had me sweating early,he was putting fish in the boat left and right while I was just getting warmed up. But I didn’t give up, slowly, I chipped away, and as the sun dropped, I turned the tables. The real drama? I pulled in a couple of big bites right at the end, and we sealed the deal with a 3 fish limit weighing 15.60 pound bag averaging over 5 pounds each! We caught them on that soon to drop Motion Fishing straight worm and the trusty 10 inch Berkeley Power Worm. We worked main lake rocky points and brush piles, with a bit of standing timber, but those main lake structures held the gold. The Omnia Pro App helped me lock in on those prime stretches. Bass were very lethargic. The bite was very slow. You really had to pay attention to your line and feel for anything that felt different on the retrieve. Fish were on ledges with trees anywhere from the bank out to 25'.
