Bass were shallow cruising around a big weed bed. Presentation needed to be slow to get bites, smaller males were much more aggressive.

A buddy and I fished a Tournament on this lake with no experience and found success. We fished docks early on in the morning wacky rigging, and then transitioned into deeper water of 10-12 feet at the weed edge and isolated rock piles using the drop shot method. With no expectations in place, it was an overall fun experience.
