I used a crankbait to find an area with fish. I then worked the area with a ned rig, drifting it with the current.

Took the jon boat out for some river fishing and was using squarebills and football jigs. Squarebill didn't get the job done so I slowed down and fished a football jig around a fallen log that had a grass mat that floated next to it. Kept the outing short so I only had one quality bite and a few smaller fish.
